This paper proposes a new scattered field transformation method with a two-dimensional planar scan. The new method is based on the Born approximation and has features below: (1) the scattered field can be predicted from measured near-field (NF) samples, where the measurement distances from a target under test to a transmitter and a receiver can be different, (2) the computation time of the method is less than 10 minutes for a large target whose size is about 300 times of the wavelength, (3) the implementation of the code simply includes the inverse Fourier transformation (IFT), Fourier transformation (FT), and matrix operations, and (4) bistatic FF can be predicted. The algorithm of the method has three steps: (a) IFT of the measured NF samples, (b) multiplying a novel weighting factor by the samples, and (c) the FT. The proposed method is numerically verified. |
