The number of launches of nano-satellites is increasing due to more frequent launch opportunities and lower development costs. These satellites are used for a variety of purposes including remote sensing, technology development, and communication, playing a crucial role in social infrastructure. However, they often have inadequate security measures due to constraints in space, power, and computational resources, and the lack of concern/understanding about space systems treats. This study analyzes cyber threats in nano-satellites using threat analysis frameworks utilized in the IT fields and discusses countermeasures. |
