(in English) In this study, we propose a method to estimate the intensity of optical signals emitted by sound-to-optical conversion devices "blinkies" from saturated signals acquired by video cameras using non-negative matrix factorization. Blinkies are small devices that convert acoustic information into optical signals, and monitoring a distributed set of blinkies with a single video camera can be applied to various acoustic sensing frameworks that do not require wired or wireless communication. The video signal and the optical signal emitted by the blinkies differ due to light attenuation, background light, and saturation in the camera. We propose a method to simultaneously estimate the transfer coefficients and the optical signal emitted by the blinky by using non-negative matrix factorization. The performance of the proposed method was evaluated by experiments in simulation and real environments.
