Wireless sensor networks often suffer from the "hot spot" problem, where specific nodes near the sink experience rapid energy depletion due to concentrated data transmission. This problem shortens the network lifespan. This paper proposes a mobile sink approach to balance the load amongst sensor nodes and prolong network life. We present a novel method utilizing Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), incorporating remaining node energy into mobile sink trajectory planning. Simulation results demonstrate that our method extends the network lifespan and increases the total collected data compared to an existing method. |
