In this study, we conducted experiments using a device that opens electrical contacts at a constant speed. Previous studies have investigated the relationship between magnetic blowout by varying voltage, current, magnetic flux density, opening speed, load resistance, and contact material. In this report, we investigated the effect on magnetic blowout at low voltages below 100V. As a result, it was revealed that the effect of magnetic blowout depends on the power supply voltage. In other words, it has become clear that even if the interrupting current remains the same, as the power supply voltage becomes lower (100, 50, and 30V), the magnetic blowout effect becomes weaker. It was also confirmed that when magnetic blowout occurs, the arc length reaches its maximum value at a small current, and the arc duration becomes short at higher currents. |
