Research and development of millimeter-wave devices and millimeter-wave materials are being actively pursued. In the development process of these materials, precise evaluation of the complex permittivity of dielectric materials is indispensable. We have reported the effectiveness of the 50 GHz TM$_{010}$ mode cavity resonator method with rigorous analysis for evaluating the millimeter-wave complex permittivity of dielectric round bars. In this study, we report the results of a complex permittivity measurement method for thin round-rod dielectric samples using a 100 GHz TM$_{010}$ mode cavity resonator developed to expand the measurement frequency band further. |
