In this paper, we present a short-time multiple pitch estimation method based on a differential equation.
Multiple pitch estimation is a popular problem in audio analysis.
Particularly, the estimation from short signals has been desired in various real-time processing.
The sinusoidal constraint differential equation (SCDE)-based method for realizing high-temporal resolution has been proposed for the frequency estimation of a single sinusoid or multiple sinusoids and fundamental frequency estimation.
The SCDE-based method can efficiently and accurately estimate frequency even from a short-term signal.
In this paper, as its extension towards the multiple pich estimation, we introduce the harmonic constraint to the SCDE-based method, and propose the method.
Our experimental results show that our method estimated multiple pich with high accuracy with sinals of 2 ms. |
