Temporal Characteristics of Shutter Spikes in Free Shutter Task

(in English) The authors have devised the "Free Shutter Task" as an experimental platform addressing multiple contextual backgrounds related to voluntary actions. In this task, participants are required to aim the camera at a progress bar with a time display presented on the forward screen and press the shutter at any time within a specified time limit. This task was conducted in the summer of 2023 as part of a television program, targeting a nationwide television audience and resulting in an unusually large dataset (N=23630) for a psychological experiment involving human subjects. This paper specifically focuses on the temporal characteristics of observed shutter spikes, regardless of the presence of a group, and reports some of the experimental results.
