| (in English) | Packing puzzles, also known as plastic puzzles, have been considered difficult to calculate the total number of solutions when the pieces is many. By dividing the board into two parts, finding the solution of each part, and combining them, We found the total number of solutions to Pentahex (Tenyo's Plastic Puzzles No.22) and Heptiamond (No.24), which were previously unknown. Pentahex has 38,392,870,484,072 solutions and Heptiamond has 231,363,869,366 solutions. |
