Analysis of Digital Textbook Leading Logs in Programming Learning for Beginning Programmers

(in English) In this study, we developed a digital textbook system called EBook aimed at supporting basic programming learning and conducted an analysis of the collected learning logs. We collected logs targeting programming lectures for beginners conducted in the academic year 2023, and verified the impact of the digital textbook on learners' learning outcomes. EBook allows assigning learning item tags to each page, enabling us to compare these tags with the learning logs to extract highly motivating and comprehensible learning topics for learners. Furthermore, the analysis results suggested a low dependency of learners on materials during their learning process. This paper provides a detailed overview of EBook and presents the analysis results of learning logs.
