(in English) Occasions for using recipe Websites, and the number of users who post their own cooking recipes on SNS are increasing. In general, those who post cooking recipes expect that are viewed and actually cooked by other users. Therefore, it is necessary to make the recipes attractive. Thumbnail images are one of the important components of attractive cooking recipe posts on SNS. In this study, we define attractiveness of a thumbnail image as the degree that people intuitively feel tasty and easy to cook and want to cook the recipes. The goal of this research is to generate attractive recipe thumbnail images with overlaid titles, for better fitting to posts on SNS. Specifically, we aim to find the attractive text fonts for the food title in relation to the title-overlaid food image. For this purpose, we created a dataset of title-overlaid food images with various fonts and conducted a subjective experiment to estimate the attractiveness of the food images.
