| (in English) | This study proposes and evaluates a pseudo-sticky presentation method in VR space. Specifically, during the interaction of touching and releasing the surface of a virtual object, we change the amount of movement of the virtual arm corresponding to the amount of movement of the real arm, and deform the surface of the virtual object accordingly so that it follows the finger, thereby achieving the presentation of viscous sensation. In the experiment, the distance from the point where the hand touches the virtual object to the point where the virtual object leaves the hand was defined as the break distance, and the just noticeable difference (JND) of the break distance to the viscous sensation intensity was calculated. The results indicated that the JND was smaller in the condition in which the deformation of the virtual object was represented in addition to the manipulation of the movement of the virtual arm than in the condition in which only the movement of the virtual arm was manipulated, suggesting that the resolution of the pseudo-viscous sensation that could be presented was higher. | |
