(in English) This paper discusses terminal-collaborated MIMO reception, in which multiple wireless terminals in the neighborhood collaborate to receive a MIMO signal. We focus on the fact that the amount of traffic for transmission of detection results is generally smaller than that of received signal waveforms, and assume multiple collaborating terminals that transmit waveforms and a detection terminal that performs decoding. In the multi-terminal decision method, the number of received signal waveforms can be reduced by exchanging decision results among decision terminals, and the degradation of decoding performance may be improved. The decoding performance can be improved by selecting a detection result with a high reliability as the reliability information of the detection result. In the proposed method, when the reliability level is low, the decision result plays the role of a collaborating terminal, and the error rate performance are improved. In this study, we evaluated the effects of the multi-terminal decision method and the proposed method on transmission performance and the amount of collaborative traffic by computer simulations.
