| (in English) | In this study, we propose "Tape-tics," a tape-shaped device equipped with an array of miniature vibrators, following the concept of LED strips. This device was developed aiming for flexibility due to its tape form, ease of operation, and excellent usability that does not require specialized knowledge for handling. By combining a flexible PCB with small disc-shaped motors, it achieves tactile feedback through vibration. As it is made with a flexible PCB, users can cut the device to any length they desire, attach it to the preferred location, and receive intuitive feedback. This eliminates the need for design customization for specific body parts and complex wiring. Furthermore, it is equipped with full-color LEDs, allowing easy adjustment of vibration intensity and corresponding changes in LED brightness. This enables third parties, who are not wearing the device, to communicate through the blinking of the LEDs. Additionally, it is designed for easy control using microcontrollers such as Arduino. Lastly, we will introduce three application examples developed using Tape-tics. | |
