An integrated analysis on safety and security for an access point selection system in heterogeneous wireless network services

(in English) The proliferation of mobile terminals and the increase in the amount of data traffic can make it difficult for users to connect in places with high concentrations of people, such as urban train stations. Previous research has proposed a system that allocates the most suitable access point based on the application used by the terminal. However, despite the nature of the system, which can have a significant impact on social functions due to outages, malfunctions and abuse, no analysis has been conducted on the safety and reliability of the proposed system. In this paper, an integrated safety and security analysis based on STAMP is used to identify the threats. This will allow us to examine what needs to be taken into account when building the system.
