Experiment of Simultaneous Illumination of Multiple LEDs by Receiving the Radio Waves of Wi-Fi Tethering with Rectenna Array

(in English) A new analytical model of the cross dipole rectenna array was presented for the prototype structure and dimensions, and the wireless power transmission efficiency was analysed and clarified when the array was deployed. Next, the direction of the incident electric field was changed from vertical to horizontal by rotating only the transmitting and receiving rectenna by 90 degrees in order to investigate the polarisation-sharing characteristics of this rectenna. The analysis results showed that the S21 characteristic was very small, and the design and analysis of the polarisation-sharing property was a subject for future work. The rectenna adapted to the prototype used in this paper can also be considered as a deformed loop antenna, as opposed to an ordinary crossed dipole antenna. The current distribution on the antenna was analyzed and the results are presented.
