Radiated immunity test methods for automotive components and wire harnesses are specified in manufacturer and international standards. Under these test conditions, high power amplifiers are required to satisfy the specified field strength. We propose a proximity immunity method with antenna scanning to reduce the transmitting power. Numerical simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed method by evaluating the electric field distribution and the effect on the wire harness using a long-wire antenna at different separation distances. |
