(in English) As the use of non-terrestrial networks, including satellite communications, expands, the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) is conducting research and development on satellite flexible networks that realize efficient data distribution, as well as high-capacity optical satellite communication, flexible communication, and highly confidential communication infrastructure technology with the aim of realizing an information and communications network that seamlessly connects from the ground to space. We will introduce these research and developments.
