Improving bit rate using dual camera for standard image overlay 16PSK visible light communication

(in English) Image overlay uplink visible light communication is investigated using LED backlight modulation of a small LCD (liquid crystal display) and a rolling shutter camera. In previous work, QPSK (quadrature phase shift keying) was evaluated by compensating received pixel values using dual camera. In this study, we improved the compensation accuracy of received pixel value using dual camera. A compensation method for received pixel values that takes both overlay image and backlight modulation into account is newly proposed. Constellations and EVM of 8PSK and 16PSK against overlay images are evaluated using the proposed compensation method.
