Multiple Sequence Alignment (MSA) is an important technology used in various fields such as character recognition, analysis of time series data such as sound and moving image, and bioinformatics. However, MSA is an NP-complete problem, and metaheuristic methods such as Simulated Annealing (SA) are generally used. In this study, we propose a multiple alignment method using an Ising machine. In the proposed method, the multiple alignment problem is solved as a combinatorial optimization problem based on the relatedness between elements, using a Fujitsu digital annealer as an ising machine. As an evaluation of the proposed method, this paper compares the processing result with the existing software based on the conventional method using the simulation data, and confirms that the accuracy rate is a little lower, but the result is the same as the existing software. |
