(in English) The security environment surrounding Japan has been changing year by year. In this presentation, an overview of the security environment in Indo-Pacific and the significance of importance of air domain capability are briefed at first. Then, the concepts of cross-domain operation including electromagnetic domain and mission assurance are reviewed. In addition, the current status of multilateral cooperation in EW promoted by Japan Air Self-Defense Force as an example of multilateral and multilayered defense cooperation that contribute to realizing the vision of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific”(FOIP) are mentioned.
