A Study on Optimization of Virtual Network Embedding by Deep Reinforcement Learning

(in English) Network virtualization is a technology to realize multiple virtual networks on a physical network, and has attracted attention as an important means to improve flexibility and efficiency. In this study, we addressed the combinatorial optimization problem in virtual network embedding and proposed deep reinforcement learning. Specifically, we developed an efficient virtual network embedding method using "Dueling Double DQN". Experimental results showed that the communication delay and resource balance were effectively optimized, and overall performance was also improved. In the future, we will pursue comprehensive network optimization with the aim of achieving bandwidth control.
