Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Understanding job search status of students is very important tasks in university management. Each facility has developed and operates its own management system because the management method varies depending on the facility. However, the efficiency of the work greatly depends on the performance of the terminal, so it is necessary to consider more efficient algorithms. Therefore, in this study, we developed new job search status management systems apply the management system of medical equipment, programmed in VBA and C#, and examined the effect of the difference in programming languages on the usefulness of the system. The system we created has the following three functions. i) Importing information recorded in a CSV file, ii) Sorting and aggregating information, iii) Outputting results. We operated the prototype system on seven different types of terminals using data for 4894 peoples data and measured the processing time of each function. As a result, the system implemented in VBA was the shortest at 15.0 seconds (Core-i9;9gen, 64GB) and the longest at 487 seconds (Core-i5;8gen, 8GB). Next, the system implemented in C# was the shortest at 23.3 seconds (Core-i9;12gen, 32GB) and the longest at 51.2 seconds (Xeon E5-2697Av4, 256GB). Based on these results, it was considered that the system programmed in C# has less sensitive to terminal performance than programmed in VBA, and can achieve stable operation, so it has highly useful for improving the efficiency of job search management tasks.
