Investigation of higher resolution of ultrasound using response characteristics of rectangular pulse transmission.

(in English) When negative square pulses are applied to the ultrasonic probe, negative and positive ultrasonic waves are transmitted at the moment the falling and rising pulses are applied, respectively. The frequency of the square pulse is usually applied according to the frequency of the ultrasonic probe, but if the signal tailing is large, the number of waves increases and the distance resolution is reduced. Therefore, the negative ultrasonic tailing signal generated by the falling signal of the square pulse was hit by the positive ultrasonic signal generated by the rising pulse to cancel the tailing signal and increase the resolution. In the present study, high resolution in transmission at low frequencies with long tails and in airborne ultrasound was investigated. The respective high-resolution and challenges to further high-resolution are described.
