A study on power distribution methods between multiple grids in a closed area to achieve carbon neutrality

(in English) Taking the smart agriculture of large-area farm fields as a use case, we have investigated a new network configuration that combines communications and power distribution networks based on carbon-neutral conditions. In this report, we describe an adaptive low-power consumption system that responds to power generation forecasts based on weather forecasts as a carbon-neutral operation method for individual sites (grids) consisting of renewable energy sources and edge nodes. In addition, we proposed and verified a power distribution method that interconnects multiple dispersed sites (between closed grids) by means of direct current distribution. As a result, autonomous distributed cooperative operation of power distribution was confirmed in both normal and abnormal conditions.
