Expansion of Hologram QR codes by filling in modules -- Including how QR codes can be used to lead to phishing sites --

(in English) The QR code is widely used worldwide as an automatic recognition technology and is employed in various applications such as cashless payments and guiding users to websites. In the past, we proposed a method to construct Hologram QR codes that can store multiple pieces of information by simply changing the direction of shooting. In this paper, we propose a method to construct special QR codes for printed QR codes that guide users to different URLs by filling in the white modules, applying the hologram QR code construction method. We also propose a technique to minimize the number of modules that need to be filled. Furthermore, we discuss the possibility of guiding users to different URLs by filling in the white modules of QR codes pre-printed on products and point out the vulnerability to phishing scam exploitation.
