(in English) In synthetic aperture radar imaging of a human body, phase errors caused by object motion such as respiration and heartbeat degrade the image formation, which might be able to be solved by an autofocusing technique for phase compensation. Most existing autofocusing techniques for human imaging, however, assume intentional movements such as walking, running, sitting down, and standing up; autofocusing techniques for respiratory motion have not yet been established. In this study, we propose an autofocusing method for suppressing the respiratory effect in synthetic aperture radar imaging of the human body, and verify its effectiveness through simulations.
