Transparent communication, achieved through the integration of sensing, computation, and devices, allows for information exchange without the need to be aware of internal communication channels or architecture. This transparent internal processing enables end-to-end communication control and management, with features such as easy identification of failure points and causes. This is a fundamental element in realizing a Human-Centered Lifeline (HCL). On the other hand, to maintain such communication in a robust and secure state, the hardware security that forms the trust foundation of information systems must be ensured. In this talk, the entire field of hardware security will be surveyed, followed by an overview of the security requirements necessary to achieve a robust and transparent communication infrastructure. Furthermore, the focus will be on the threats posed by electromagnetic information security, which is difficult to detect and leaves little trace; the mechanisms of security degradation and countermeasure methods based on these mechanisms will be introduced. |
