(in English) To make mobile communication systems available even in the sky, a “three-dimensional spatial cell configuration” has been proposed. This configuration uses beamforming technology for base station antennas to spatially divide ground cells and sky cells, allowing the same frequency to be shared between the ground and the sky. The authors have proposed a 2x2 orthogonal polarization MU-MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) canceller using orthogonal polarization antennas at the base station to improve communication quality, particularly for sky cells. This paper evaluates the communication quality when applying the proposed 2x2 orthogonal polarization MU-MIMO canceller in a cellular environment composed of multiple cells.
