Joint Design of Transmission Blocklength and Charging Time for Realizing Secure URLLC using Energy Harvesting

(in English) This paper investigates short packet communications that balance reliability, low latency, and secrecy in point-to-point communications systems where the transmitter is powered solely by an energy harvesting (EH) source. We formulate the throughput as a function of blocklength and charging time, utilizing the expression for achievable secrecy capacity with finite blocklength. We propose an efficient method to solve the throughput maximization problem while meeting delay and outage constraints, employing continuous relaxation and Gaussian approximation techniques. Computer simulations show the proposed method provides the optimum blocklength achieving the maximum throughput.
