High-Speed and broadband network transformation is needed for sixth-generation wireless technology (6G) era, it is necessary to utilize high-frequency bands such as millimeter / sub-terahertz wave bands. The high linearity of radio waves in the high-frequency band has a significant impact due to shielding, and communication breakdowns occur due to various shielding objects, including the human body. Therefore, to ensure an uninterrupted communication environment, it is necessary to redundancy of communication paths by using a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) that places a large number of antennas at high density. In the conventional configuration where many wireless base stations are arranged, there is a concern about the increase in power consumption, so it is required to realize a small and low power consumption by the configuration of a simple overhanging antenna device (RRU: Remote Radio Unit). A method to realize the simple RRU configuration, analog radio over fiber (A-RoF) is a very promising technology. On the other hand, in a Point-to-Multi-Point (P2MP) configuration, where multiple Remote Radio Units (RRUs) are deployed from the same cell, the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) particularly degrades in Uplink (UL) communication due to the noise aggregation from multiple RRUs. This paper elucidates the effectiveness of noise reduction by switching control. |
