The purpose of this report is to clarify how to set the calculation conditions to obtain results that appear to be
correct from calculation results obtained under different calculation conditions. From that perspective, the calculation results in
the authors' previous reports are also examined. The calculation object is a model in which air is blown into a contact gap from
a contact surface. A boundary surface that generates an air flow was set, and an initial value for the flow was set there. Following
results are shown.Changing the settings for mesh generation that includes the boundary surface resulted in different calculation
results. It was found that in order to obtain calculation results that appear to be correct, it is necessary to confirm that the flow
velocity distributions on the front and back near the boundary surface is equal to the set value when the calculation conditions
are changed. It is thought that the calculation results in the authors' previous reports were the results when the flow velocity
distributions on the front and back near the boundary surface was different from the initial value. |
