A Study on Decision-making Approach for Multi-Link Operation in Wireless LAN

(in English) This report discusses the introduction of a decision-making method for multi-link operation (MLO) in wireless LANs. MLO is a technology that aims to improve communication speed and reliability by using multiple bands for connection between wireless LAN devices. Since wireless LANs are widely utilized in various situations, the best transmission and frequency band usage becomes different depending on the usage environment and utilization of surrounding wireless LAN devices. In this report, value-assessment method and analytical hierarchy process are considered as decision-making methods to choose better frequency band utilization according to multiple evaluation criteria. Computer simulation is conducted to compare whether a suitable transmission format can be selected for various usage scenarios, taking into account radio interference and the priority order of functions required by users.
