This report shows comparison results of measurements and simulations of propagation characteristics on a tunnel and an underground station. We had simulated the propagation using two methods, the ray tracing and the mode analysis based on a waveguide theory. In the ray tracing, the propagation characteristics were affected by obstacles near by the transmission antenna. In the mode analysis, similar tendencies were observed with measurements on a distance attenuation quantity. On the other hand, the difference of characteristics were confirmed from the detail of the antenna directivity, antenna position and tunnel structure. |
