The use of millimeter wave and Sub-THz waves, which have a wide frequency bandwidth, is being considered for 6G to realize high-speed, large-capacity communications. Since these frequency bands have higher propagation loss than conventional mobile communication frequency bands, they are being considered for use in hot spots where there are many people. On the other hand, it has been reported that shielding loss by the human body increases at higher frequencies as well as propagation loss, so level fluctuations due to the human body cannot be ignored. Therefore, in this paper, experiments were conducted in an indoor environment in order to obtain the received level variations in the millimeter wave and Sub-THz wave bands when a person actually walks around. As a result, it was confirmed that as the number of people increases, the shielding ratio of the direct wave increases and the probability of a decrease in the reception level increases. On the other hand, it was found that in some cases, the presence of a person generates reflected and scattered waves, and the reception level increases compared to the case where there are no pedestrians. |
