A digital signal processor (DSP) basic design of direct digital RF transmitter with 100GbE optical fiber link is carried out for a LEO satellite Q-band DBF antenna. Assuming ACLR<-31dBc, the lowest bit number (signal voltage resolution) in QPSK/QAM modulation calculation and the lowest OSR of 1-bit bandpass - modulation are calculated. The calculated minimum OSR value indicates that a 100GbE optical link (25Gbps/single antenna element) can be used for the connection between the DSP unit and the antenna module. |
