MACKEY, a compact and thin antenna that can operate on metal, has been proposed. Conventional MACKEYs have a two-layer substrate with the radiating element and the power-feeding element placed on different layers. In this study, we propose MACKEYⅢ, which has a simpler structure and lower cost than conventional MACKEYs by arranging radiating elements and power-feeding elements on the same layer, making it a one-layer substrate. We also propose MACKEYⅢ S-type, which is even more compact with a short-circuit panel. |
