Response Time Reduction Method Using Waiting Queue for Optimal Control of Multi-Job Rejection Rate

(in English) Threshold control for the number of jobs accommodated has been proposed, but there is an issue where the rejection rate and response time for soft real-time jobs increase when the threshold is lowered to prioritize the processing of firm real-time jobs. Therefore, our method incorporates a job queue at the edge server. Furthermore, we propose a method that uses queueing theory to predict the response time of jobs, compares the response time when using a cloud server with the response time when using an edge server, and enables processing after waiting in the queue if the response time is expected to be shorter.
