Although the sound quality of acoustic equipment has advanced, the phenomenon that various factors such as the operating conditions of acoustic equipment, cables, settings, and equipment combinations cause change and degradation of subjective sound quality exists even today. However, a high-resolution analyzing method that can detect slight changes in sound quality and degradation has not been established.
Therefore, in this study, as a new challenge to analyze acoustic signals with higher resolution, we focused on the asymmetry of the operating characteristics at the rising part and the falling part of signals in acoustic equipment and proposed a frequency analysis method of the rising part and the falling part of time series acoustic signals independently. Through evaluation experiments, it was confirmed that the proposed method could independently and appropriately analyze the frequency spectrum of the rising and falling parts of the asymmetric sinusoidal and triangular waves test signals containing different non-linear distortions and jitter in the rising and falling parts. |
