Development of a Presentation evaluation method using nonverbal audience information

(in English) Evaluation of presentation techniques is important in social and educational settings.
Conventional methods mainly use the content of the speaker's materials and his/her actions.
In response to this, we consider the use of audience response as an evaluation index for presentation techniques. Specifically, we propose a method to evaluate the quality of a presentation by capturing video images of the audience and using the behavioral information. We quantified the audience's movements and compared the differences between those who gave high and low subjective evaluations. As a result, a significant difference was found in the eye movement of the audience between those who gave high and low ratings.
