Developments of high core density uncoupled 19-core fiber for optical wiring

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) Uncoupled multicore fiber for optical wiring with high core density has been developed. This multicore fiber is uncoupled 19 core fiber with a coating diameter of 250 μm, which is equivalent to that of a conventional single-mode fiber (SMF). The highest core density has been achieved among ever reported MCFs by using homogeneous cores.
