With spreading of IoT and AI, the use of Information-Centric Networking (ICN) for executing workflows enables the automatic execution for each node and the reduction of the response time by cache utilization. Specifically, AutoICN, an autonomous workflow scheduling algorithm, has been shown that each task can be autonomously scheduled according to the priority in order to utilize the execution results and computational resources. When executing complex applications where a task has two or more predecessor tasks, it is necessary for each subsequent task to send requests to its predecessors. If nodes autonomously determine the destination, it may result in redundant executions by assigning the same task to different nodes, leading to inefficient use of computational resources. In this paper, we propose an assignment method that considers both the number of Faces of each node and the number of predecessor tasks. Additionally, we clarify the characteristics of this method through experiments. |
