| 抄録 | （和） | 本論文では, 基本A/Dコンバータと窓付きA/Dコンバータを対象として, 誤差特性について基本的な考察を行う. 基本A/DコンバータはアナログDC入力を有限符号長の2値系列のデジタル出力に変換する.アナログ入力は分母が固定された有理数で近似される. 窓付きA/Dコンバータは監視窓を有しており,これによって 適切な符号長を検出することができる. アナログ入力は分母が可変の有理数で近似される. 誤差特性を評価するために3つの特徴量を導入する. 第1の特徴量はよく用いられる平均誤差、 第2の特徴量は最悪誤差、 第3の特徴量はビット反転誤差である. これらの特徴量を用いて,基本的な例題に対象とした数値実験を行い, 2つのA/Dコンバータの誤差特性を比較検討する. |
| （英） | This paper introduces a simple analog-to-digital converter with trapping window (WADC) and considers its performance. The WADC encodes a dc input into a binary output sequence and the window extracts an available part of the output sequence. Using the available part, the decoder provides an estimation by a fraction with variable denominator. Although the average error is usually used in quantization error evaluation, we present two other indicators: the maximum error for all the inputs and the bit inversion error for influence of one bit inversion in the binary output sequences. Using the indicators, we have executed elementary numerical experiments and have investigated performance of the WADC in comparison with basic analog-to-digital converters. |
