The fingerprinting method using RSSI has the problems which is the decline in position estimation accuracy due to RSSI instability and is trade-off between the number of receivers and reference points. In this study, we propose a new fingerprinting method using the received signals of array antenna to deal with these problems. This study compares the location accuracy of two conventional methods and the proposed method through simulation experiments using the ray tracing methods. The results showed the difference of position fingerprints can be larger than that of the conventional methods and the estimation accuracy was improved. |
