One of the promising HPC accelerator technologies that will continue performance scaling in the post-Moore era is coarse-grained reconfigurable arrays (CGRAs). However, what benefits CGRAs will bring to HPC workloads and how those benefits will be reaped is an open research question today. This technical report highlights our previous and future design-space exploration efforts to optimize our CGRA architecture for HPC and AI. |
