[Poster Presentation] Study on the design of transparent metasurface

(in English) Meta-surface control the reflection and transmission characteristics of incoming radio waves using a periodic structure. Meta-surface reflectors have attracted attention for their ability to deliver radio waves to areas in urban areas where radio waves are difficult to reach. On the other hand, the use of transparent meta-surface is considered to improve the indoor radio environment due to radio waves arriving from outdoors. In general, the amount of phase change is smaller in the transmission type than in the reflection type. This report explains a design method of transparent meta-surface that can realize arbitrary transmission characteristics by combining two types of structures., and show that the designed transparent meta-surface can control plane waves incident vertically in the desired direction by using the FDTD method. We also seek to increase the strength in the desired direction by adjusting parameters.
