Nonlinear coupled oscillator systems have temporally periodic solutions with localized amplitude distributions, which are called ILM or DB.
Although it is well known that ILMs can move in the system without decaying their energy concentration, their dynamical properties are not well understood yet, especially for two- or three-dimensional systems.
In this study, we investigated a method for generating moving ILMs by deforming the Fourier spectrum of stationary ILMs.
As a result, it is confirmed that moving ILMs generated by a low energy stationary localized solution move in any direction with constant speed. |
