[Poster Presentation] Beam steering antenna unit using liquid crystals fitted with a perturbed circular-polarization microstrip antenna element

(in English) In this paper, we describe the results of a simulation study on a circularly polarized directional antenna with a phase control mechanism using nematic liquid crystal (LC), combined with a microstrip antenna with perturbation segments for satellite communication. Specifically, the microstrip transmission line, which uses a liquid crystal layer for the feed section of the antenna, enables phase variation from 0° to 360° by adjusting the dielectric constant of the liquid crystal. We also describe the procedure for examining the feeding structure of the microstrip antenna with perturbation segments placed above the feed section.
