We consider three-state cellular automata on a face-centered cubic lattice as a model of excitable media. It is known that there exists a trigger wave called cuboctahedral wave. In the process of the collision between two cuboctahedral waves, we start from B1-4 rules, the simplified version of min0 rules, the minimum rule set that can create cuboctahedral wave. To remedy the deficiency in the wavefront of cuboctahedral wave, we have got B1-7 rules. Up to the fifth step, there is no deficiency in the wavefront of cuboctahedral wave using the B1-7 rule. |
