(in English) We have studied a non-destructive inspection method that combines the Scanning Airborne Ultrasound Source technique (SAS) and Harmonic Imaging (HI), which utilizes Nonlinear High Intensity Airborne Ultrasound. This method can efficiently inspect large thin metallic structures. In this study, we performed HI to visualize defects in a thin metallic plate using airborne ultrasound excitation by adding multiple signals. As a result, it was confirmed that the addition of multiple signals can enhance high-order harmonic components in the wave propagation image. The results also showed the possibility of improving the accuracy of defect detection by high-order HI.
